The actress Kate Beckinsale said that she "knew within five minutes of kissing" her current husband she would marry him.

 

The couple met on the set of the movie 'Underworld' and Kate says that she initially tried to deny her attraction to Len because she was dating her co-star Michael Sheen at the time. "It was one of those things that was happening but that we tried to pretend was not happening for a long time. Len and I were both with other people at the time, and the whole thing was really difficult. We made the film, and it wasn't until after it had finished that it finally dawned on me how much I liked him. I knew within five minutes of kissing Len that I would marry him".

 

Kate has a nine-year-old daughter named Lily from her relationship with Michael Sheen and says that she is thankful that Len and Michael get on well because it makes life easier for her and Lily.

 

She added, "Len and Michael got along very well before Len and I got together because they already had a good working relationship and they both liked each other anyway".
