Cameron Diaz just announced that she wants to take a year off from making movies after she finishes work on 'My Sister's Keeper'.

 

She is said to be devastated by the sudden death of her father Emilio last week and was apparently already planning to take a break from Hollywood before the tragic loss.

 

She said, "I envision a full year off, just living life and having fun. It's the best thing. I am in love with love and I am in love with life. This year I just sort of decided, you know, there are a lot of things that I've been wanting to do and I'm going to do them. I've just been figuring out what interests me and spending time with people who are important to me and being present in my own life".
