Nicole Richie apparently had to dry clean two $1,000 dresses after one of her dogs soiled them when she was shopping at a Hollywood boutique.

 

Nicole, who recently gave birth to a daughter named Harlow, was out shopping for a  birthday present for her finance Joel Madden in West Hollywood's 'Resurrection' boutique when the incident reportedly took place.

 

A shop insider told the National Enquirer magazine, "We let Nicole bring her dogs into the shop because she is such a huge celebrity but we thought she would have more control over them. Her dog used a blue frock as a toilet. As soon as we saw what had happened, we told her she had to get them dry cleaned or buy them. Because they cost $1,000 each she took them to be cleaned but we don't know if we can sell them now. They aren't the same".

 

Last year, it was claimed that Nicole was planning to dress her pet dogs up for her wedding ceremony and she is believed to have purchased a tuxedo for her Shih Tzu ''Honeychild' and a bridesmaid's dress for her Pomeranian pooch 'Foxxy Cleopatra'.
