According to Forbes.com the former 'Friends' actress Jennifer Aniston is the leading US celebrity magazine 'cover girl', pushing her ex-husband Brad Pitt into second place and Brad's new partner Angelina Jolie into fourth place.

 

The editor of Americas Star magazine, Candace Trunzo said, "I think that most women can relate to and empathize with someone that was so in love with a man who, in an incredible Hollywood twist, leaves her for his co-star in a film".

 

Forbes.com's study of a six month period ending on June 30, revealed that Jennifer appeared on six popular weekly magazine front covers, selling more than five million copies of People, Star, US Weekly, In Touch Weekly, Life + Style and OK!

 

The actress Scarlett Johansson took third place and the Oscar winning actress, Reese Witherspoon garnered the fifth spot.

 

The study took into account how many issues each celebrity's cover sold and the number of times a celebrity was the main cover star and also their consumer appeal.

 

In the interim, Jennifer purchased a $4million apartment in an Armani designed building in New York's financial district. 'The Break-Up' actress is so excited about moving to it that she can't keep away from the construction site.

 

A source told the 'New York Post' newspaper, "She is so in love with her new apartment that she keeps bribing the workmen to let her go up in the construction lift so that she can have another look!".
