The 'Pride and Prejudice' star Keira Knightley thinks young people are too fame hungry and says that she is uncomfortable with fans who are eager to know everything about her.

She told the 'Radio Times' magazine, "It frightens me when kids go, 'I want to be famous.' Why? Because you want to go into a restaurant? You know what - if you book you can get into a restaurant. If you want to be rich go and work on the stock market".

Keira says that she she has an ongoing struggle with her celebrity status, "Why would I want strangers to know me? I find it an odd concept and I don't deal with it particularly well".

She said that she only looks so good in photographs because they have been touched up, "Somebody goes, 'Gosh, you're pretty'. Thanks, I've got good genes! OK, I'm on the cover of a magazine but somebody else does the hair and make-up and airbrushes the f**k out of me - it's not me, it's something other people have created".
